GREG RYAN: Singer, multi-instrumentalist & songwriter from Newport whose style borrows from folk, country & Americana, with a large repertoire of songs about subjects including attempts to relax into the chaos of looking for life’s purpose, struggles with long distance relationships and the life & works of at least one near forgotten female palaeontologist. Greg was previously one half of award-winning duo NOTHING NORTH OF ALASKA, and has since established himself as a solo performer, playing a wide variety of venues from the WMC to Dublin Castle and the Grammy Museum in LA. He's an accomplished pianist and composer, writing music for film & tv, as well as winning 7 Independent Music Awards and a Classical Radio Award.
