HYPER GAL: Two-piece band springing from Osaka, consisting of visual artist Koharu Ishida on vocals and noise artist Kurumi Kadoya on drums. The minimalist duo make maximum impact by stripping music down beyond the bare essentials, creating shimmering, no-wave pop from blastbeat drums, glittery keyboard loops and ethereal bubblegum vocals - laced with velvet and firecrackers. “Hyper Gal inexplicably blend rap and pop vocals with hard, industrial textured beats (reminiscent of no wave acts such as Ike Yard) with the avant-garde tension of bands like The Locust and Melt-Banana”. Hyper Gal Bandcamp, Instagram, YouTube, Spotify

SPÜNDAY: Tonypandy band who formed at a Melt Banana concert (their primary influence). 'While my guitar gently beeps' is a blistering attack on the music industry establishment's lethargy, unwillingness to take risks on new music for feat of upsetting shareholders, and the continual re-issues and repackaging of the same music. SpünDay YouTube, Facebook, Spotify, Bandcamp

SORRY STACY: A self taught producer, songwriter and singer originating from Estonia, sorry stacy is now based in Cardiff and creates conceptual electronica influenced by Björk, Kate Bush and Grimes. Mixing themes of spirituality, alienation and love into dreampop sounds, sorry stacy was a standout artist in the eyes of the Forté team. Yet to debut live, there is a world of potential and connection on its way for her. Sorry Stacy Spotify, Instagram, Facebook
