Back for its second year, MOONDOGS is a charity fundraiser for The Rescue Hotel, taking place at The Moon, Cardiff. The funds raised are to support Richard Jackson (JacksorJacksor) running the Principality Cardiff Half Marathon, with all proceeds going to The Rescue Hotel.
JACKSORJACKSOR: Multi-instrumental chamber pop ensemble, the current musical vehicle of former Albatross Archive frontperson Richard Jackson. Since forming the ensemble for the recording of 2023's EP GoodChaos, JacksorJacksor has continued to evolve, taking inspiration from the likes of Scott Walker, Black Country, New Road, and Want-era Rufus Wainwright. They are currently working on songs for the upcoming 2024 release, based around a new year's resolution to write a song a month during 2024 (known as the "_sam_songs"). ELLIE JAMES: Singer, songwriter & guitarist based in Bristol, who has worked as a musician since age 13, playing her first show at Swn Festival. Since then she’s explored the music industry under different names and projects supporting Wolf Alice, Lucy Rose, Jonathan Wilson, had music featured in adverts & films, and performed at Canadian Music Week.
